Proposals Sought for AAM's 2008 Annual Meeting

Planning is underway for the AAM Annual Meeting and MuseumExpo™ in Denver, April 27–May 1, 2008. Session proposal forms and guidelines for the 2008 meeting, themed "Leadership: An Open Mic for New Ideas," are available on the AAM website or by contacting the meetings and professional education department at 202-289-9113 or annualmeeting@aam-us.org. Proposals are due Aug. 31.

Those interested in having their proposals considered for endorsement by one of AAM's Standing Professional Committees (SPCs) or Professional Interest Committees (PICs) should refer to the list of contacts on the session proposal form or contact the meetings and professional education department for guidance. Many proposals that receive this peer endorsement ultimately succeed in securing a spot in the final program.
