About the Council of SPCs

The Council of Standing Professional Committees (Council of SPCs) of AAM is composed of committee chairs who represent specialized areas of the museum profession. The Council of SPCs:

• Acts as a resource to AAM in developing strategic initiatives
• Plays a major role in developing the AAM Annual Meeting program and other opportunities for professional education
• Communicates issues of concern between its constituents and AAM
