Participate in Museums Advocacy Day: Make the Case that Museums Are Essential

On Monday, Feb. 24 and Tuesday, Feb. 25 over 300 museum advocates—museum professionals, trustees, independent professionals, students and supporters—are gathering in Washington, D.C. for the sixth annual Museums Advocacy Day. This year's Program also includes two Great American Museum Advocates.
"Congress has recently had very heavy lifts completing FY14 federal funding, and agreeing on overall spending targets for FY15," said Alliance President Ford W. Bell. "Now it's up to every museum to help ensure that every legislator understands just how important the museums they represent are in their communities, especially as this year's funding and policy discussions get underway."
