We are so excited to welcome you to Washington, DC! We have worked hard to secure discounted room rates at the best and most diverse hotels around the city. Within our block, you’ll be sure to find a hotel to fit your style and budget.  Reservations in AAM’s room block must be booked through the Official Housing Bureau.  

We have also set aside a limited number of beds at Hostelling International for students and international travelers.  See the Hostelling International section below the housing options for rates and how to book.

Making it a family trip? Our discounted rates are available three days before and after the meeting, so feel free to come early or stay late and make a vacation of it!

Hostelling International

AAM has reserved a limited number of beds at Hostelling International Washington, D.C. (HI-DC) at a discounted rate. Beds are available in 10-bed and 6-bed rooms shared with other AAM attendees. You will be able to choose if you prefer a female-only, male-only, or co-ed room. Each reservation includes daily continental breakfast, Wi-Fi, sheets and linens, and access to a personal storage locker (lock not included). HI-DC is located 2 blocks from the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.

AAM Negotiated Rates: 

  • 1 bed in a 10-bed room: $36/night
  • 1 bed in a 6-bed room: $39/night
