Museum Speed Networking
Thursday, Dec. 13
6:30–8:30 p.m.
Almas Shriners Temple
Washington, DC
Join local museum colleagues for this structured museum networking event, based on the “speed dating” concept and designed to help attendees meet other professionals with the potential to:
- begin a mentoring relationship
- discuss shared work topics or career paths
- network
Participants are matched up prior to the event using a web-based tool for creating profiles and indicating matching preferences. At the event registered participants receive a customized schedule packet of individual meetings, based on their preferences, becoming their roadmap for the event. The customized packet includes information regarding each individual meeting, contact and profile information, and a basic biography of each person they will be meeting throughout the evening.
Who Should Attend
This program is open to museum colleagues of all career stages, from varied backgrounds, different functional roles and from a variety of institutions.
Please note: This event is not intended to be a business prospecting opportunity for museum service providers or consultants.
How Will I Benefit?
After participating in the program, attendees will be better able to:
