In collaboration with the American Association for Museum Volunteers (AAMV), the Museum Assessment Program (MAP) and LearningTimes

DESCRIPTION
Join experienced docent and volunteer managers from a range of institutions to explore the basics of managing today’s multigenerational and diverse volunteers, including:
•         Creating volunteer opportunities for Baby Boomers
•         Managing senior docents
•         Identifying and utilizing family volunteers in your institution
•         Creating access for hearing impaired volunteers and visitors


How Will I Benefit?
After participating in this program, attendees will be better able to identify, develop, manage and evaluate opportunities to engage a wide range of docents and volunteers.

Who Should Attend?
Volunteer and docent managers, public programs managers, visitor service specialists, and/or anyone who deals with volunteers and docents in their institutions.
