What Museums Need to Know about the Elementary and Secondary Education Act/No Child Left Behind

Join experts for a timely discussion on federal education policy, including how the current law has affected museums, what the process is for amending the law, what changes the museum community is seeking during the “reauthorization” process, and how the museum field can weigh in with elected officials on thistopic.  After participating in the ESEA/NCLB webinar, participants will be better able to:

•    Advocate for a reauthorization of ESEA that benefits and serves museums and their partnerships with schools
•    Understand what is at stake in the reauthorization of the law and how the process will work
•    Discuss the role of museums within ESEA with their elected representatives, policymakers, and colleagues
•    Enhance partnerships between museums and schools
