HOW DOES IT WORK?

What is a virtual conference?
A LearningTimes virtual conference takes place entirely over the Internet. You attend from any web connection, interacting with speakers and colleagues in a lively and meaningful manner - from anywhere.

What can I expect during a live webcast?
During each webcast, you will hear and interact with our presenters and your colleagues from across the state. Each webcast includes opportunities to ask questions in real time, and share experiences, resources and ideas with other participating colleagues.

If I can't attend the live sessions, is it still worth my while participating?
Without a doubt! The live sessions are one part of the overall experience. We record all of the webcasts, and offer discussion forums for interacting with participating colleagues at any time. Furthermore, you get access to the conference community which houses all conference material (including exclusive online activity) for one year after the conference!

Do I need a microphone or camera?
The webcasts do not require participants to have microphones or cameras. You do need speakers or headphones, however, to hear the webinar panelists. You will be able to submit questions and share ideas and resources by entering them during the live event in a specified chat box that you will see on screen.
