Description
Where do we start? Where are we going? How will we get there? What does “success” look like? Learn the basics of project management in this lively and practical workshop. Participants will learn about what changes when you go from “doing” the work to “managing” the project. We will discuss project management tools; how to plan the work of all those involved, including employees and contractors; how to create budgets and timelines; and how to negotiate on behalf of the project. We will also explore different project management styles, giving you insights on how to build on your strengths to create effective project teams – that colleagues want to work with (the true test of how effectively you will get the project completed!).

Online Forum
Click here to access the Online Forum.
The web conference learning experience will be extended using the Online Forum on the AAM website, exclusively for registrants and presenters. The forum will serve as an information and entry portal for web conference participants. Each participant will receive a login and password to access the forum.
The forum is where AAM will post all handouts and other resources in advance of the webinar, so that registered attendees will be able to download the materials and have them on hand during the live program.
Reminder: The forum will require a unique login and password that will only allow the login to be used in a single instance. You will not be able to share the username and password with multiple people for simultaneous use.
Some sponsorship opportunities are still available for our webinar series. Get in front of thousands of museum professionals throughout the year!
