The American Association of Museums takes pride in recognizing those outstanding individuals and organizations who have dedicated themselves to excellence within the museum field.
The Nancy Hanks Award, Distinguished Service to Museums Award, The Medal for Distinguished Philanthropy and the National Organization on Disability Award, all serve the purpose of promoting and recognizing service to museums.
Please note: As AAM moves into a new era of serving museums, we are reviewing and restructuring these four awards and their presentation. Therefore, these four awards will next be presented at the Annual Meeting in Los Angeles in 2010.
We welcome any suggestions that you may have for strengthening these award programs.
