 | ICOM International Committees |
Every individual ICOM-US member is eligible to become a voting member in one ICOM International Committee as a privilege of membership. Joining one of these 30 these groups focusing on either a particular type of museum or specific museum-related discipline provides the opportunity to exchange information, develop standards and best practices, and work with museum professionals abroad on international projects impacting your field. Each ICOM International Committee is represented by its president at the ICOM Advisory Committee.
If you wish to join an International Committee, complete the International Committee Membership Form and submit it to the ICOM-US office. You can use this form either to join a committee or change your committee of choice. If you are already an ICOM-US member, be sure to include your ICOM membership number on your form; new members can leave that field blank.
