Since the LEED green certification launched in the 1990’s, there have been hundreds of museums seeking the certification to demonstrate sustainability practices and to be a good neighbor.  Thanks to Deborah Lucking of Fentress Architects and Joyce Lee of IndigoJLD Green + Health and a group of experts, the new and improved guidance is available at the US Green Building Council under “Applying LEED to Museum Projects”.  It is a great step in the right direction.
