Accessing Federal Grants
Grants.gov allows museums to search all 26 federal grant-making agencies and their more than 900 programs. The site offers resources that explain how the site works and tips about the grant search and application process.
OMB Watch provides information on the “DUNS” number and how to request one. As of October 1, 2003, all federal grant applicants must have a “DUNS” number, which the federal government uses as a universal identifier.
