The Alliance celebrates, honors, and commemorates the below heritage and awareness months by providing in-depth resource guides for museum professionals. For each guide, explore resources and articles from AAM, find stories about museums from across the field, and draw inspiration from how peer institutions are marking these histories and heritages not only during the target month, but year-round.

As a new project, publication of heritage and awareness month guides for museums began in late 2023 and is ongoing. We anticipate publishing more pages in the coming months.
